In all genres I prioritize diversity and marginalized voices. Specifically I would love to see more Indigenous, Native American, and First Nations, as well as Latinx, disabled, chronically ill, and trans/nonbinary/queer stories and voices. In general I am looking for commercial fiction and non-fiction with a clear, distinct voice and a unique hook.
ADULT ROM-COM/ROMANCE
Flipping classic tropes on their heads (grumpy/sunshine, hate to love, forced proximity). Paranormal romance. Any and all monsters! Crossovers! Mystery romance, fantasy romance, cozy small town with firefighters, holidays with magic. Spice encouraged. High concept, high stakes, commercial hooks.
ADULT MYSTERY
Uncommon settings. Unique protagonists. Found family. Locked room mysteries. Cozies.
FANTASY
Intricate and clear world-building, character development, and unique magic systems. I really don’t like prophecies that spoil the whole plot. Uncommon myth retellings or fantasy worlds inspired by underrepresented cultures. Fresh takes on classic beasts and monsters (vampires, werewolves, witches), and new ones too! Dark and light academia. Gothic. Cozy, low-stakes fantasy with adventure. Romantasy. Any and all.
ADULT SCI-FI
Extremely commercial. Romance included is a plus.
ADULT NON-FICTION
Micro-histories. Popular science.
PICTURE BOOKS
Talking animals. Lessons about family and siblings. Handling big changes and feelings. Laugh-out-loud art and stories. Think GRUMPY MONKEY! I am

a good fit for middle grade, young adult, magical realism, speculative fiction, cookbooks, historical fiction, literary fiction, or poetry at the moment.
