I am most interested in middle-grade and YA fiction—in particular; fantasy grounded in reality with series potential; contemporary with a focus on current issues and diversity without being didactic; contemporary teen girl romance and coming of age; mystery and psychological thriller; YA fiction with cross-over adult or new adult appeal; and art-driven picture books. I am open to historical fiction, especially with a medieval or early 20th century backdrop. I am NOT interested in high fantasy, paranormal, chapter books for younger readers, non-fiction picture books, or non-author/illustrator picture books.
